  1. I wasn't really surprised to find out that Aristotle was the father of basically everything. I didn't know that he really valued teaching and learning everything, not just one specific thing. He "learned to learn" and he knew how to do things just to know how. I feel like this is something more people should do. We depend on other people to know how to do things that we could probably do if we just took the time.

  2. This presentation flowed very good because you had all the slides keep leading into each other with no down time between slides. It was interesting to note that Aristotle had a lot of good ideas that have been used throughout history. Also it is interesting that our college is what Aristotle thought of.

  3. I found the why you guys broke down his background was great I learned a lot. I knew he was involved but I didn't know he was involved in so much. To find out he was the father of so much was shocking. Great job

  4. I did not know that Aristotle was involved in so many areas or our knowledge, or that he learned just because we wanted to, which I thought was an amazing quality he had. I also liked how you referred to the American Dream in your presentation, because that has been such a big theme in our classroom. My favorite thing from your presentation, though, was the quote that said "Teaching is the highest form of education." Of course, I love it because I am going to be a teacher, but mostly because it really puts knowledge into perspective. If you can teach it, then you know it pretty well.

  5. It was very interesting to find out that Aristotle was the father of basically everything. I also admire him for wanting to learn more just for the heck of learning. I wish I could do that! Ha. Your presentation had very good pictures and the color and the design fit very well too.

  6. I agree with Daniel, it's crazy what all Aristotle was known for everything, you did well at covering your theme, I would have liked a bit more facts about Aristotle though, besides that, slide show was nicely made, and good use of quotes.

  7. I liked how you started your presentation with a question to everybody. It was kind of a surprise, and got everyone thinking. You made a good analysis of Aristotle and his teaching to current teaching practices. The only thing was the dividing of the talking during the presentation was well defined.

  8. I thought it was interesting how Aristotle knew a lot about basically every subject. Most people specialize in one field and i think its amazing how much this guy really knew. Your presentation really helped show how amazing Aristotle was, great job.

  10. I learned a lot about Aristotle thanks to this presentation. I learned how he wanted to learn for the sake of learning. One of the quotes that I took from the presentation was "teaching is the highest form of education." I think that teaching someone does teach you man things as well as the person learning. I think that Christopher B. Nelson was a great comparison because he believes in the same qualities of learning that Aristotle believed. I agree with Aristotle and Nelson, that interacting and being involved is one of the best ways to learn. I think this presentation was very beneficial and taught me a lot.

  11. Very informative! i know that he had done great things but I had no Idea he has accomplished so much. His ideas on teaching and learning were so different and free spirited. He learned simply for the joy of learning which would be very nice to have that opportunity as easily accessible now days. I really learned alot from your presentation! Great Job!

  12. I knew that Aristotle was the father of something but I did not realize he was the father of basically everything. I also found it interesting that he taught Alexander the Great. Very good presentation in my opinion.

  14. You did a very good job. I thought that the way you guys focused on his ideas and less on random facts from history about him was a very good way to present your topic.

  15. I had a very good idea that Aristotle was the start of most all education related topics. Even though it is not much of a surprise it is still fascinating to think how well rounded this man was. I like how you talked about learning for the sake of learning and that an enthusiasm for learning is needed to get the most out of. Very good presentation. I thought your background in your PowerPoint fit the time of Aristotle well.
