  1. My favorite part of this presentation was the video. It was a perfect way to end the presentation because it perfectly summed up everything they talked about, especially the quote from the Great Depression, "Distracting Americans from miseries of Great Depression". I can see how watching these two dance made people happy back then. I also felt like Janaki and Lauren knew a lot about Fred and Ginger and genuinely seemed interested in them.

  2. This was a very well done presentation and I liked how most of the slides that you had were pictures and not text. It was nice because it kept me interested in it. Also the video at the end helped show their dance moves.

  3. The presentation was well done, the video of them dancing was impressive, a good way to show off how talented the two of them were. Films were a popular way to distract yourself from the difficulties of life during the Depression and its easy to see why these two were popular due to how uplifting seeing them dance could be. I honestly can't think of a thing you could have done to improve this, you two did a good job.

  4. I enjoyed their personal stories as people and the connection to the great depression. It was interesting to see something happen come out of that time period, as opposed to just doom and gloom in black and white. It was also interesting to note that the two were iconic for their time, but won't live in the same legacy for what they did as Michael Jackson.

  5. The power point was really nice I learned a lot about Fred and Ginger. I think the best part was the description of their relationship I also like the video it really tied all together for me. The only thing I can say is that it was really good and I learned alot I can't really give any improvements.

  6. I really loved your presentation and your power point. You both had great speaking skills and didn't have to resort to your notes very often. I learned that Fred and Ginger made tap dancing popular and they were amazing in that video. I also thought it was a good point that you mentioned how Ginger dance in large dresses at times, which is very tough for women to do.

  7. Loved your presentation, you split up speaking parts well, information was clear and I liked that you used prezi. I really enjoyed the video the most, It made me want to look them up, I ha never heard of Fred and Ginger before now. It seems that Ginger broke from the expectations and limits that women had around that time, I mean she danced in whatever she liked, I found it interesting that she leaned towards acting though, and left Fred.

  8. I really liked that you gave lots of background in your presentation because I don't think most people really know much if anything about Fred and Ginger. It seemed very well prepared how you two split up the talking in the middle of points also. I realized how we need to put time in separating the different points up.

  11. I very much so enjoyed your presentation. I thought you did a very good job at giving us information on how they helped the American morale during the great depression. I had heard of Fred Astaire before but have never heard of Ginger Rogers. I had no idea they were such a dynamic duo. But then again I had never really researched them.

  12. I thought that this presentation was great. I liked how it wasn't done on the typical Microsoft Powerpoint. I hadn't even heard of Ginger and Fred until I saw this presentation. I learned about their performances and movies. I liked the clip of the couple dancing because I think it showed how great they really were. I also thought Michael Jackson was a good comparison to the couple because of their styles of dance moves. I enjoyed this presentation and I think that they did a great job!

  15. Great job! This was a very interesting and well-prepared presentation! I liked the breakdown of how they were different even down to their clothing and their cheek to cheek dance style. Great comparison to MJ! Too bad their dance moves aren't as iconic as his but still very neat!
